S02E11: Is it time to stop calling yourself a “Founder”?
Tuesday Feb 01, 2022
Tuesday Feb 01, 2022
In this first podcast for 2022, let’s talk about new year resolutions.
If you consider yourself to be a “high achiever” then most likely you’ve set your new year resolution, created that all-important plan for its execution, and have scheduled how you’ll go about delivering it.
But if you’re also like many of the entrepreneurs I work with, you might even be feeling a little under pressure in adding that new year resolution goal to your already full to-do list.
Am I right!
In this episode of The Positive Change Podcast, we explore the importance of becoming dispensable (yes, you read that right!) in your business.
So, if you want to create more time for yourself in 2022, then this episode is for you.

S02E10: The Power Of The PAUSE.
Friday Dec 24, 2021
Friday Dec 24, 2021
At this time of year when many of us are preparing for the traditional holiday season, we can sometimes work against our own experience of “winding down”.
Oftentimes, even though we desire to slow down we can act in ways that actually ramp up our efforts … working longer and harder in an attempt to check off all of those tasks from our endless To-Do Lists.
And this is when the Gift Of Pausing can be so helpful.
Rather than striving seeking to force a resolution of issues by some arbitrary moment in time, an alternative approach is to to remain connected to your life’s natural flow.
Remain connected with your life’s ever present and boundless potential rather than striving to force an outcome.
“HOW CAN I DO THIS?”, you might ask.
As I share in this episode of The Positive Change Podcast, by pausing and reconnecting with your highest self, and responding accordingly.
Listen in to learn more about how you, too, can give yourself the Gift Of Pausing.
So, this holiday season, I offer you a FREE GIFT in support of you pausing: 31 Days Towards Abundant Positivity, a daily personal positivity reflection for 31 days.
To access your free gift, simply register using the link below and take the time to nourish your own inner positivity.

S02E09: Why enduring change starts with your own transformation.
Wednesday Nov 24, 2021
Wednesday Nov 24, 2021
I've been involved in many significant change projects with organisations where people (including me) have talked a good game about change but haven't actually done anything to make that change happen.
Yes, we’ve dreamed big and developed a solid plan for how that change would occur, but we haven’t actually made it happen.
And the #1 reason is: We failed to start creating that change.
In this episode of the Positive Change Podcast I unpack why it can be so difficult to initiate a change that we tell ourselves is so important.
So, if you want to keep things moving forward for that positive change you want to see for the world then this episode is for you.

As an entrepreneur, maintaining a clear future direction is essential to thriving as an entrepreneur.
But, too often entrepreneurs can feel constrained within their entrepreneurial adventure … on auto pilot without a clear sense of what the next successful step in their business involves.
When you don’t have a clear vision — a bold ‘why’, ‘how’ and ‘what’ for how you make a difference to others through your business, then you can start to feel a failure.
And that’s the power of adopting a strength-based approach to change.
Establishing a “provocative proposition” describes in VIVID DETAIL what you most want to realise through your business and it is supported by a clear and pragmatic set of ideas for how you will make that future vision real.
In this episode of The Positive Change Podcast, we explore how Thriving Entrepreneurs use provocative propositions to inspire new thinking about how to turn their bold vision for their future into reality.
So if you need more inspiration in your business, then this episode is for you.

S02E06: How to find your flow in your business and in your life
Tuesday Oct 05, 2021
Tuesday Oct 05, 2021
How do you know when you’ve fallen out of flow in your business … and what do you do about it when you do?
In this episode of The Positive Change Podcast, we talk about what to do when you think you are “off your game” in your business and when you recognise that you are working against yourself in pursuing your entrepreneurial adventure.
Fundamental to realising that you’ve fallen out of flow in your business (and in your life) is understanding when you’ve placed your destiny—the creation and fulfillment of your own life’s future possibilities, in other’s hands.
It can be easy to do even for the seasoned entrepreneur and change maker.
Psychological research utilising the insights and observations of elite sportspeople, artists and musicians, and entrepreneurs, has identified eight “experience markers” that indicate when you are in-flow.
And knowing these markers can help you to find your flow and stay connected with your highest potential.
If you are experiencing overwhelm, stressed, or unable to keep up in your business then this episode is for you!

S02E05: No, busyness success DOES NOT EQUAL business success.
Wednesday Sep 22, 2021
Wednesday Sep 22, 2021
I’m not going to lie, starting and growing a business can be hard. As you pursue your entrepreneurial adventure you will face many unknowns and, at times, the learning curve needed to be successful is incredibly steep.
But, that learning curve is also what makes entrepreneurship so much fun.
In this episode of The Positive Change Podcast, we talk about what really makes a business and entrepreneur successful and it’s not the illusion of “busy”.
Put another way: “Busyness Success” ≠ “Business Success”.
For the Overwhelmed Entrepreneur caught in the illusion of “busy” there are some pretty common reasons:
- being over-responsible and not asking for help;
- thinking you need to be across everything in your business, all of the time;
- failing to say “no” when you need to; and
- losing that all important connection to your vision, and getting caught doing the wrong work.
If you are experiencing overwhelm, stressed or unable to keep up in your business then the question to ask yourself is, “why?”
Oftentimes, it’s because (unconsciously) we feel we have something to prove … to somebody.
It doesn’t need to be this way. In this episode we explore how to reconnect with your own inner confidence and follow your passions, purpose and potential.
Remember: Your success leaves clues, so what clues are you noticing?

S02E04: Why you need to thrive as an entrepreneur
Wednesday Sep 08, 2021
Wednesday Sep 08, 2021
As an entrepreneur and change maker, you don’t have to look too far beyond your everyday experience to recognise that the scale, speed and complexity of change facing humanity is expanding.
Political unrest in some quarters of the world, economic divide, social volatility, acceleration of technology and changes in legal and regulatory requirements facing many industries, especially those impacted by and impacting the environment, just to name a few.
For the Thriving Entrepreneur & Change-Maker there are abundant opportunities to implement positive change.
But to truly realise the untapped potential of these opportunities, new thinking is needed.
In this episode of the Positive Change Podcast, we discuss some of the common “mistakes in thinking” Overwhelmed Entrepreneurs make that can result in feeling overwhelmed, stressed and held back within today’s changing business world.
I share three shifts in thinking the Thriving Entrepreneur needs to make to truly support humanity thrive through disruption:
- from Entrepreneur to Change-Maker.
- from working “in the business” to looking “beyond the business”
- from focusing on succeeding or winning to thriving.
By enhancing society’s ability to flourish and realise its potential the Thriving Entrepreneur fulfills their own life’s potential.
So, what do you need to thrive as an entrepreneur and change maker?

S02E03: Why Copying Successful People Won't Always Work For You
Tuesday Aug 17, 2021
Tuesday Aug 17, 2021
Every entrepreneur's strategy towards success is unique and that’s why copying another entrepreneur’s “success strategies” may not always work for you or your business.
To succeed in business it’s important to align your strategy to its implementation environment.
And the same applies when pursuing greater positivity in your life, and business.
In this episode of the Positive Change Podcast, we discuss a common mistake Overwhelmed Entrepreneurs make — looking to others and trying to emulate their success, rather than looking within oneself (and one’s own business) and amplifying what is already working as the foundation to creating more success.
In contrast, the Thriving Entrepreneur and Change Maker start by clearly defining the challenge they face for their business and naming what they know and don’t know about that challenge.
After this, the pathways forward to even greater positive momentum are clear to identify and to pursue.
